The International Pan Celtic Festival is a celebration of the Celtic cultures of Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Brittany, Isle of Man and Cornwall in music, song, dance, languages, costumes, sport and story. Patricia Tyrrell is a qualified horticulturist with two gold medals and Best in Category from Bloom. She believes strongly that good landscape design should be underpinned with good planting design. In this workshop on Spring beauties she outlines how designed landscapes should encourage nature and fit into and reflect the surrounding natural landscape. 

Mary Keenan of the magical Gash Gardens in Castletown, County Laois is a horticulturist, broadcaster and garden writer. Once a farm paddock grazed by cattle, Gash Gardens is now densely planted and an expertly maintained country garden, home to colourful herbaceous borders, fine specimen trees and a river walk along the banks of the Nore.
