Wine
The association the lord bagenal carries with wine spans over two decades
and has been a flagship in the pursuit of excellence for James Kehoe and his team.
James Kehoe's passion for wine has earned him a vast amount of accreditation in the wine
industry, having been the first in Ireland to win the coveted "Decanter / Sandeman
Port Wine list of the year" & the prestigious Graham port "Supreme
award" on several occasions.
James Kehoe has a unique approach to compiling his
list, His objective is to deliver to his guests a list that is both accessable and
informative and represents a premium combination of quality and value. From each
wine region he has tried to select wines from which he regards as being among the best
wines produced in the region which also represent the best value to his patrons.
The wine list itself reads like a sixty page volume,
with each wine receiving an individualised commentary on the unique essence that she
displays. For more information on any of our wines or for information on wine
specific lunch or dinner parties, please email Patrick Kehoe above . (Due to size constraints, wine list cannot be displayed online)
Cigars
Smoking the illustrious cigar has long been associated with a sense of
relaxed presence, where the compelling Sir Winston Churchill speaks eloquently with one of
his enigmatic speeches while slowly savouring one of his dignified cigars.
The Lord Bagenal continue to carry one of the finest
private cigar collections in Ireland, with some of the finest Cubans, Dominicans, &
Honduran's are available; Including Cohiba, Partagus, hoyo de Monterrey, Romeo y Julieta
and many more.
To truly enjoy the complexities of a great cigar you
need to combine several components that will unleash vital flavours and aromas that the
cigar has hidden for the inquisitive palate, food for example, is often held like a
dissent relative to a cigar; but with the right combination it can be a extremely
memorable experience. Or the combination of the "Hoyo de Monterrey, Double
Corona savoured with a refreshing Golden Mount Gay rum" which will infuse energy and
caramel notes on the palette; Or the unusual combination of the Montecristo No.4 with a
cool pint of Guinness, which will help further release flavours of leather & black
pepper. To help achieve all these flavours and complex aromas, The Lord Bagenal
carry a vast array of French, Spanish, Italian, Jamician & Cuban liqueurs &
spirits to offer the inquisitive visitor an opportunity to savour an entire spectrum of
unique varieties.
- Unfortunatly as of March 29th 2004 all tobacco
