Throughout The Lord Bagenal Carlow Hotel you can enjoy an array of different artists, from Tony O’Malley, Colin Middelton, Peter Collis, William Scott, Sean McSweeny and some of the more contemporary cutting edge Irish Artists such as Paul Doran and Paul Mosse. British Artists include Tai-Shan Schierenberg, Henry Cliff, David Blackburn, Shani – Rhys James, to name but a few.
Original porcelain from the Ming period (1368 – 1644) and Qing period (1644 – 1911) are also on display, finely crafted egg shell thin porcelain with under glaze red and blue of the Ming to the more familiar famille rose porcelain of the Qing, offering a visual and artistic experience for any art lover.
